Safety Training Seminars - San Jose

Safety Training Seminars was started in late 1989 a few months after the Loma Prieta Earthquake, which was also known as the World Series Earthquake. The first CPR training office opened in San Francisco and has since expanded to 7 other Bay Area cities including: Concord, Berkeley, Novato, Redwood City, San Jose, Rancho Cordova, and now Dublin. There are a few reasons that a company can survive for almost 25 years – great customer service. We have clients that have been coming to our location for over 20 years and we appreciate their continued support. 

The owners of Safety Training Seminars are Charles Seidel along with with his wife Laura, who is from South Dakota. They live in the East Bay along with their two furry friends Kai – a labradoodle, and Terkel a goldendoodle. On their free time, they both enjoy scuba diving and trips to South Lake Tahoe.

Besides being an American Heart Association BLS and CPR instructor, Charles is also a certified scuba diving instructor with PADI. He took his divemaster training on Koh Tao in Thailand and then took and passed the instructor course on Utila in Honduras.

Safety Training Seminars is proud to be an American Heart Association BLS, CPR, and First-aid training center. The license number is CA-20784. STS regularly sends their instructors to volunteer at American Heart Association events such as Aging Gracefully at the JCC in San Francisco and assisting in Hands Only CPR and Free CPR classes around the Bay Area.

Safety Training Seminars is an official provider of EMSA certified Pediatric CPR and First-aid training courses in the East Bay. Childcare providers who work in Pleasanton, Hayward, San Ramon and anywhere else in the East Bay are required by law to have a current Pediatric CPR and First-aid certification card. These cards are valid for two years from the American Heart Association and Dublin CPR Classes teaches these classes on weekends. After attending this 8 hour course, students get their AHA certification card on the day of the training.

The CPR and First-aid instructors come from a wide variety of backgrounds including EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and nurses. Even though they all have different medical backgrounds, all of the CPR instructors provide informative, fun, and interesting training courses. The classes are stress free and most students actually have a really good time. Some of the instructors speak a few languages including Spanish, Danish, and Swedish and all of our office staff speaks Spanish fluently. The instructors are also sent to the appropriate CPR Update Conferences that are held around the USA, including ECC Events in Las Vegas, San Diego, and once to Florida. It is important that our instructors have all the current information to provide high quality CPR and First-aid classes.
