He consults some of the largest technology companies like GE, Verizon and Lenovo on how to leverage content marketing, email, display and direct response media on the world's largest professional network. Before joining LinkedIn Doug worked on both the publisher and agency side of the digital media business managing paid search, display, paid social, email and content marketing campaigns for a variety of brands including Chevron, MetLife, AT&T, HBO and David Yurman.

    While I felt the instructor had deep knowledge of the topic, I don't think his teaching skills were engaging. I feel like he was just reading from the deck. It was not an inexpensive class and I was hoping to have an instructor who would give real life examples, and engage participation.

    The instructor is wise but disappointed in the school for not setting up equipment and setting up for the trainer. The instructor needs to ask questions to the audience regarding material in call and response, regardless of size. However, he was engaging. He did not provide learning objects, which is essential. Also the air conditioning was on in the classroom.

    I thought i did write a review. Apologies, certainly meant to. Flow of the course was very good, packed full of info and moved at a good pace. Doug had a nice style and encouraged questions and managed them well.

    Such a great class! Went in not knowing the first thing about digital marketing. Perfect pace. Fast enough for people who have a background but in depth and slow enough for those who do not. I definitely recommend this course.

    The class was very informative and a great overview of the digital marketing sector. The teacher is professional and extremely knowledgeable. The reason I gave four stars is because the teacher's voice was too monotone and a bit difficult to follow. It would be great if he was a bit more engaging and upbeat.

    This was a great class for anyone looking for solid overview of digital marketing tactics. This course is more focused on marketing than ad product, which one or mix to achieve what KPIS, and measurements but it will definetly point you in the direction for what to take next

    I thought the class was very informative, quick pace since there was so much to cover. There was a loud humming in the room, so it made it hard to hear the instructor at times, plus he didn't have the loudest speaking voice. I would consider taking another class. We were told we would have the presentation deck emailed to us, but have not received it yet.

    I was pleasanltly suprised at how knowledgable the teacher was and how much time he allotted for Q&A throughout! With that said,the class was too large and needed to be catering to various levels. Some people were so beginner it held up the class and some people knew more info so the questions were more relevant to some of us who have more experience. It can slightly derail the class.
