Carmen Arroyo founded Femme Body Fitness (Formerly La Femme Fitness & Dance) in 2010 to open the minds of women whom are looking for a more realistic and fun way to stay in shape. Her tough love approach has pushed women to limits never thought possible and allows them to to conquer inhibitions and liberate muscles with workouts that unite pole dancing, sensual movements and other proven sculpting techniques.

Femme Body sessions are specifically designed for women to sculpt fitter frames in all the right places- upper body, waist and thighs- without losing their feminine curves. Curvy and strong is the new sexy!

    Carmen is a terrific instructor, really patient & supportive. The routine was great, her instructions were easy to follow & broken down perfectly. I highly recommend this class, it was FUN & one of the best online classes I’ve ever taken!

    I loved the class. It didn’t feel exruciatingly long even though it was a Splits class. The instructor let you go your pace but also came around and offered some one on one.

    Pros: Very hands-on. Definitely teaches some sexy moves and the teacher tailored the class based on the interests of the students (like type of music). Cons: The teacher was late as CourseHorse apparently didn’t notify her. She texted a lot. And while I loved that the teacher showed the moves in as much of a professional manner as possible for this type of class, it would have been nice if she asked if it was ok to be in our personal space.

    I enjoyed the dance routine and appreciated the time we used stretching, but I really wish we danced to a song and I wish that we didn’t rely on the pole so much because most of us have chairs at home but not poles. I wanted it to be something I can do at home. Loved our instructor!

    The class was a real workout. I worked up a sweat. The song selection was great, felt like the perfect seductor's music. The moves were challenging so it was great that we were able to repeat the routine over and over again. My only criticism was that the poles seemed too close to each other for beginners who are trying to swing their bodies and sweep their legs around the pole.

    In the lesson description it contained: "No pole spins or crazy inversions" and "Ideal for beginners", but it was not. In class, I was the only beginner, and although the dance was beautiful, the teaching method was not good: passing very fast and many movements at the same time. I did not have the time to get all of it. In addition, some movements required a sliding floor, which there wasn't.

    It was fun, but not quite what I expected. The instructor was nice enough, but I told her at least 10 times I didn't have the upper body strength or even the desire to do pole poses where I was holding myself up off the ground, she kept telling me to "try again." I found this pointless, hurtful, and even a little offensive. I told her this was just a fun class for me, to learn how to dance sensually like the description said, and instead it felt like I was being shamed and ignored for my strength level. The instructor should be more adaptive to people who can't or don't want to do certain poses, rather than telling them to keep doing it. The rest of the dance was fun, though, so I have no idea why she didn't just stick to that for the entire class.

    Had so much fun, and OMG i woke up so perfectly sore the next day. I love knowing that i had a blast and really used my muscles. I can't wait to go back and take more classes. I really want to get these moves down (with fewer pole kisses lol). I also want to try some of the other classes offered. Heads up its probably easier to have your work out outfit on before you get there.

    The class I went to was taught by Natalia. This is a conditioning class for pole dancing, not actual pole dancing, but it was an excellent workout, nonetheless. One word of advice would be to wear shorts to the class as you will be doing exercise using the pole. I wore leggings that that went down to my ankles and had to roll them up for some of the exercises.

    They started the class 10 minutes late, had no fans, AC running, or windows open, and painters touching up training of room so close to where we were exercising, I worried I would accidentally kick them. Awful. I walked out.
