What you'll learn in this sql class:

This workshop will build upon the skills developed in the SQL Bootcamp. The program uses a combination of lecture and in-class exercises to ensure that students leave with a working grasp of the SQL skills covered in class. Students will immediately be able to apply their skills at work.

The workshop will include the following topics:
Build SQL Database in the Cloud (using Amazon Web Services)
Import and Export of Data
Create and Manage Users
Advanced Querying Techniques (e.g., case statements, extract, union)

Prereqs & Preparation

Completion of the SQL Bootcamp or equivalent SQL skills.
There will be several in-class exercises, so students should bring laptops and create an Amazon Web Services account prior to class.

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

Overall the class was very informative and useful. However, the class did not start on time (instructor was ~10-25 minutes late, and then everyone took time to get their computer set up for the class) and we ended up having to rush through the material towards the end.
