Join us for the day and learn the power of Layer Mask + Smart Objects + Smart Filters and how they can complement your current Photoshop skills!

Layer mask is an editable and removable 8-bit Gray-scale channel that hides all or some of the pixels on a layer, depending on the tools and effects you are applying to it. White areas in a layer mask permit pixels to be seen, black areas hide pixels and gray area hide pixels partially. It is true to say: White Reveals and Black Conceals! With the layer mask thumbnail selected you can edit, deactivate and view the mask. You can move and copy layer mask to other layers at any time.

Preparation

• You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
• This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
• Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.
• Each individual course participant must have purchased a ticket
• Beginning level of Photoshop or familiarity of the UI, Basic Selections and Basic Layers.
• Please download the latest version of PS CC 2020 or Photoshop CC.
• Please bring along any kind of a mouse or a Wacom tablet.
• Instructor will send link to download files 1 day before the class.
