The smells of yeast blooming and breads baking are an international language. In this camp, junior chefs will learn to make pastries, cakes, breads, and other baked goodies from around the world. Each day they will explore a region of the world, Northern and Southern Europe, Middle East, Asia, and make sweet and savory baked goods, enough for a snack and lunch. The highlight of the week is when students present a delicious last-day-of-camp meal to their own guests.
Students will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Please have children wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. Adult supervision is needed if kids are cooking at home.
This is a 3-session program for whole family or children starting Grade 4 through 12. Tuesday-Thursday, 11:00 am-1:00 pm. One registration per household for one zoom link.
Your kids will learn:
We will send you list of ingredients on the weekend before the class, so you can shop early. You will get full recipes with cooking instructions along with one zoom link per household, before the class.
