Experience the vibrant flavors of Korean cuisine as you learn to prepare traditional banchan, or side dishes, in this hands-on cooking class. Under Chef Polly’s guidance, you’ll start by creating napa cabbage kimchi from scratch, mastering the balance of spice and umami. Next, explore a variety of vegetable-based sides that are essential to any Korean meal, including sesame spinach and savory egg dishes. The session wraps up on a sweet note with hotteok, a warm, filled pastry served with a cinnamon-sugar syrup.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
