Cara grew up moving her body as much as possible. Her background of 13 years of gymnastics, 17 years of ballet, and 11 years of Track and Field has given her an understanding of body awareness that comes across in her teaching style. Although she did not find aerial arts until graduate school, Cara has now been practicing both silks and lyra since 2013 and teaching since 2016. In her classes she is passionate about not only sharing new tricks, but also breaking down exactly what makes those tricks work and look the best that they can. She also is a strong believer that everyone can try aerial silks!
