Steve Fortson

Steve Fortson has a diverse background with a concentration in digital marketing where he has focused his career for the past 19 years.  He has served as VP of E-Commerce at three multi-channel retailers all ranked within Internet Retailer’s U.S. Top 500.  In these roles, Steve has directed, coached and mentored the teams who drive digital sales including web merchandising, web analytics, paid search, SEO, marketplaces, web development and email, affiliate & social marketing.  Steve believes in life-long learning and is excited to share his knowledge and experiences with newcomers to the digital space.

A native of Nebraska, Steve earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska with an emphasis in accounting.  He earned his CPA certificate and began his career working for one of the “Big Eight” public accounting firms.  Prior to his current role in digital marketing, Steve held executive level positions in finance, sales & marketing and inventory & sourcing.
