Danielle Drori

Teaches at Brooklyn Institute for Social Research

Danielle Drori received her M.A. in Comparative Literature from Tel Aviv University in 2011 and her Ph.D. in Hebrew and Judaic Studies from New York University in 2018. She has taught courses on literary theory, modern Jewish literatures, nationalism and gender at the City College of New York, and is a contributor to both academic journals and popular publications. She specializes in translation studies and theories of “world literature,” and is a fan of the contemporary genre known as “autofiction.”
