Angela Crenshaw

Teaches at New York Botanical Garden

Angela Crenshaw began working at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources in 2008 removing abandoned boats and debris for Boating Services. She became a Maryland Park Rangerin 2016 and promoted up the ranks through her time at Elk Neck and Gunpowder Falls State Parks. By 2017, she was the Assistant Manager of Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park in beautiful and historic Church Creek Maryland. Working at Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park allowed Ranger Crenshaw to share both her knowledge of the environment and the legacy of Harriet Tubman, a powerful "shero" and a motivating force for everyone.

Ranger Crenshaw received her Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from Washington College and her Master's Degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware.

Ranger Crenshaw recently transfered to Gunpowder Falls State Park to be closer to family and works with the Maryland Park Service to interpret difficult histories at its parks.
