George Donohue is currently President at International Properties Group - New York, formerly GMAC Real Estate International Properties Group. He is responsible for the planning and direction of the company’s policies, objectives and initiatives. He manages the overall operations including the primary divisions of Office Leasing, Retail Leasing, Residential Real Estate, Investment Sales, Hospitality Advisory Services, Asset Management and International Real Estate. Responsibilities also include the management of business development, budget and marketing programs. At William B. May Commercial Real Estate he was the President responsible for the planning and direction of the commercial real estate company. He managed and developed the overall operations and strategic objectives of the company. 

At the World Trade Center he was the General Manager of Office and Industrial Leasing, managing the overall portfolio of office, retail and industrial assets of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, comprised of over 20 million square feet at a value of over $3.5 billion dollars. The Portfolio consisted of the World Trade Center, a 110 story, 12,000,000 square foot complex; The Newark Legal Center, a 20-story, 475,000 square foot office tower; Elizabeth Industrial Park, a 46-acre complex; The Teleport, a 100-acre high-tech office park; The Bathgate Industrial Park, a 21-acre site; and the Yonkers industrial Park, an 18-acre asset.

He is a published author including Real Estate Dealmaking: A Property Investor’s Guide to Negotiating published by Dearborn Trade in 2005, voted 1 of the top 10 real estate books by Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, and Miami Herald. He is a National speaker and is an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at various universities including Harvard, MIT, The Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute, State University of New York, Brooklyn Law School and Touro College. Mr. Donahue obtained his Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development and Investment from New York University, his Diploma in Construction Management from New York University, and his B.S. in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology.
