Teaches at Acting Class Now

As a teacher and living legend in Hollywood, she is called by many a life coach as she works with each actor on an individual level, teaching them how to support their strengths. Phillip Burton said, “Teachers are born, not made, and you are one of them.” She listened. 

Janet is a former New Yorker. She studied acting with Sanford Meisner and Shakespeare, Rhetoric and Verse with Phillip Burton. Janet has a strong musical background. She worked as a songwriter, she co produced an album on Atlantic Records for Ben E. King and has a song in Tom Cruise’s, “All The Right Moves.” Janet is a writer of special material for Ann Margret and other Las Vegas entertainers. Before moving to Los Angeles, she taught at her studio in Carnegie Hall in NYC.
