The OSHA 30 course for the Construction Industry teaches construction workers how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards, as well as about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. The course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. The OSHA 30 is specifically compiled for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors, and provides information on safety compliance issues.
Once you have completed the course and the mandatory course evaluation form, you will be issued a printable temporary certificate. You will get your official Department of Labor (DOL) card in the mail to the address you have provided during the registration process (please make sure of the accuracy of your address, including any apartment, suit, house number etc.)
Training Requirements
Make-Up Time: This is an online course. Students must be present at all time during the course.
Is a professional certificate available to students after completing their class?
Yes. The student will be able to download their Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. Student will also receive the official OSHA DOL card in the mail. It typically takes approximately 6-8 weeks to receive the card.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Cancellation Policy
PDH STAR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training courses. If the course is being rescheduled within the next calendar month any payments will be applied towards the rescheduled course. If the new course date is more than one month from the original course date, the applicant is entitled to a full refund.
Refund Policy
If the applicant wishes to cancel their course application and payment, they can do this as long as it is done seven business days in advance of the course date. If the cancellation is made within the seven business days period from the course date, the applicant will receive a credit that they have to use within a six month period from the original course date.
If the applicant fails to attend the rescheduled course date or wants to reschedule again, they will forfeit 50% of the course fee. If they do not reschedule or fail to attend a rescheduled course within a six month period from the original course date, the full 100% of the course fee will be forfeited.
Card Replacement Policy
If the applicant requires a new SST card to be issued the replacement card will be charged $50. If the applicant needs to change their name on the card the replacement card will be charged at $50. Please make sure that you spell your legal name correctly to avoid unnecessary delays and costs.
