After RAVE reviews on Darren's INTRO to Animation Voice-Over class - Darren is BACK to take you to the next level!

Darren will further develop your skills as a cartoon voiceover actor in both pre-record and ADR scenarios. Through quick script assessment techniques and by increasing your vocal range and versatility, Darren will prep you to ace both v/o auditions and recording sessions.

IN ADDITION, a bonus fourth class session where students can watch Darren run a professional v/o session, ask the actor and engineer questions and further understand the relationship between actor and director.

Please Note:

As a prerequisite, you must take Darren's Level 1 Intro to Animation Voice-Over - 3 Week Class before taking his Level 2 Advanced Animation Class.

What to Prepare:

No need to prepare any materials for this event!

Please follow the procedures listed below:

The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.
Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to [email protected].

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

School Notes:

Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.

Refund Policy

We regret that we are unable to give refunds under any circumstances.

If you cancel at least 3 business days before the scheduled time of your seminar, you will receive credit for monies paid.
The policy for an online class or special event is 8 business days prior to the start date in order to receive credit for monies paid.

If you cancel in time, credit is automatically returned to your account. If you are canceling late, no credit is given unless we find a replacement for you. We have, on occasion, been able to replace actors who cancel late with others from wait lists or who might be standing by. If you are replaced, as a courtesy, we will not charge you for the late cancellation. Please consider any late cancellation a charge on your account, and any resulting replacement a courtesy. You may want to readjust your schedule to attend since, although we do our best to have full seminars, we can never promise a replacement.

If you are a “no show” for a seminar, you will not receive credit under any circumstances.

Darren is a phenomenal teacher. Every professional voice actor I have worked with has sang his praises and it is extremely easy to see why. He goes above and beyond and really knows how to speak to all different types of personalities. I have no idea how he even finds the time to do this because this guy is ALWAYS working! Pay attention when he is working with others in your group because sometimes it's easier to hear exactly what he's talking about when you're not focusing on your own script. I went old school analogue and brought a pen and paper and by the end of the three weeks I had a lot of solid info I used on auditions. Believe it or not, I have been doing extremely well since course. If you think you've finally learned it all, you haven't. Check out Darren you won't regret it!

Darren's class was wonderful. Absolutely loved that he played the other characters so that I could act off of him. Truly a fun time and I'll happily take it again.

Absolutely fantastic! I learned a lot from it, and taking both this and the intro class is one really nice package. Definitely worth the cost. Darren is very positive and uplifting throughout- which is quite contagious! I tend to be very nervous, but he makes the class incredibly welcoming. My only complaint is that there aren't more classes to take haha!
