Kim and her partner, Beth Bowling, have cast both network and cable television, including BLUE BLOODS, LIONESS (with John Papsidera), FLIGHT ATTENDANT, DR. DEATH, HIGHTOWN, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, KATY KEENE, PARTNER TRACK, QUANTICO, THE ENEMY WITHIN, GOTHAM, SLEEPY HOLLOW, GOSSIP GIRL, DELOCATED, BORED TO DEATH, MAD MEN, MICHAEL AND MICHAEL HAVE ISSUES, KINGS, NEW AMSTERDAM, THIRD WATCH and MEDIUM.
They were also the East Coast Casting Consultants for John Wells Productions for three years, working on ER and WEST WING. Feature film credits include IT'S COMPLICATED, the Adam Sandler films YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN and I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK and LARRY, and the indie hit THE TEN, directed by David Wain.
Kim is interested in meeting talent of all types and ethnicities and she has called in and booked our actors from previous events.
The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
What to prepare:
- For this event, please bring in your own scene of choice (no more than 2 minutes in length) that you feel best showcases your strengths as an actor.
- Please email [email protected] your scene choice AS AN ATTACHMENT (file should be labeled YourName_CHARACTER) by 5pm (EST) the DAY BEFORE the event.
Please follow the procedures listed below:
- The room will be open 30 minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Please arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event begins as your host will give important information about the event at this time.
- Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by one hour before the event, please reach out to [email protected]
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
