This will be a live interactive class with a Q&A and the opportunity to perform for and get feedback from Howard. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes only. You will also be able to upload your headshot, resume, reel and anything else you'd like Howard to see.

Howard Meltzer has been casting in Los Angeles since 2003. Originally from New York City, he was a staff Casting Director at Stuart Howard Associates casting for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theater. Whether it’s casting for renowned playwrights like Gore Vidal and Elaine May, or casting for a network television series, Howard’s directive is to find the talent that brings the writers’ vision to life with authenticity, honesty, and humor.
He has cast for CBS, Disney Channel, Fox, HBO Max, NBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Peacock, Sony Pictures Television Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Warner Brothers Television. His credits include The Virgin Suicides, Hannah Montana, Shake It Up, Big Time Rush and Girl Meets World to name a few.
Howard’s passion is in identifying new undiscovered talent, and he has become the go-to casting director for projects for kids and young adults.He has been nominated for 2 Emmys for Outstanding Casting and has also been nominated for 25 Artios Awards for excellence in casting, winning the honor three times. He has served as the Vice President of the Casting Society of America and as a Governor for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Howard mainly casts multi-camera and single-camera TV comedy so this class will be mainly focused on Live-Action On-Camera TV Comedy.

Class 2: Howard will pair students up and assign comedy scenes
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
