With over 150+ credits and more than a decade of experience, M'saada was most recently a casting executive at The Walt Disney Company.
Her recent redits include the FLORA & ULYSSES for Disney+, the features A WRINKLE IN TIME, SELMA, SXSW film THE QUARRY, the NAACP Image award winning series QUEEN SUGAR and the Amazon Prime series SAND AND SNOW.
You'll work with M'saada online in a group as she coaches you through your scene in a format that replicates her office's casting process. She'll provide you with constructive feedback along with on-camera audition tips that she feels are imperative to booking roles on a professional level.
For this intensive, M'saada will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot. The event will start off with an informative Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader on-camera in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
What to prepare:
- Based on your HS/resume, M'saada will select sides for you which will be emailed to you to prepare in 1-3 days in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Once scenes have been distributed, if you late cancel you will not be replaced!
Please follow the procedures listed below:- Arrive at least 10 MINUTES before your event is slated to start. Your host will give important information about the event at this time.
- Instructions and the ZOOM link for access to this online event will be emailed to you in advance. If you have not received the link by 12pm (EST) the day-of the event, please reach out to [email protected] at least one hour PRIOR to the start of class.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
School Notes: Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
