Registered students will receive login instructions one day in advance.

This class will guide you through the keys to success of prevention, observation, and patience, so that you can choose plants that resist pests and diseases, as well as how to correctly identify pest insects and beneficials and treat problems as they arise.
At one time or another, all gardens will be visited by pest insects, plant diseases, or weed problems, but using sustainable gardening strategies will save the day! This class will guide you through the keys to success of prevention, observation, and patience, so that you can choose plants that resist pests and diseases, as well as how to correctly identify pest insects and beneficials. You’ll also learn how to use the weeds in your yard to diagnose soil problems, how to diagnose the underlying causes behind other common northwest garden problems, and how to find pesticide-free solutions. In addition, the class will also cover maintenance practices that increase plant health, native birds that feed on pest insects, and more!
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

If a program is canceled by the school for any reason, a full refund will be made to all enrollees. Refunds may take four weeks to process.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
