Our Fast Track Brazilian Portuguese Classes meet online once a week for 90 minutes, in small classes with a minimum of 3 students and a maximum of 7.
Our Fast Track Brazilian Portuguese class is designed for students who are native or fluent Spanish speakers but have little to no prior background in Portuguese. Students fluent in French or Italian may also be interested in this course.
These classes build upon the similarities between the two languages to move at an accelerated pace. Over the course of 8 weeks, you can expect to learn basic vocabulary and conversational topics, practice Portuguese pronunciation, and form sentences using the present and past tenses.
At the end of 8 weeks, a Level II Portuguese class will be formed if there is enough student interest in continuing.
You will receive an electronic copy of the textbook before your first class.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
If you are in a class and cannot continue, please notify us of your situation as soon as possible so we can work with you to find a solution. We cannot credit you for classes you missed before notifying us or for a class scheduled to occur on the day you contact us.
If you miss a class during a 12-week enrollment, you automatically get a 13th consecutive bonus class added to your enrollment!
If you are unable to attend the 13th consecutive class, you forfeit your make-up lesson. Only the 12-week enrollment comes with a bonus make-up class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
