Japanese - Level 2

Alright, we know you can introduce yourself and make a damn good impression. In Japanese 2, we’ll teach you how to take the conversation further. This class is for you if you're familiar with the basics of grammar and have Hiragana down.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Take this class if you have studied some Japanese before, are familiar with Hiragana, and can say a few basic things about yourself in the present tense. You should also be able to recognize past tense forms.

THE NITTY GRITTY
Basics of reading and writing Japanese. Present simple and present progressive tenses. Number and gender agreement

YOU’LL BE ABLE TO
Talk about tourist destinations. Talk about where things are. Make a reservation and order food at a restaurant. Talk about everyday activities. Give and receive gifts. Express your opinions. Express gratitude. Offer and refuse.

NERVOUS? DON’T BE
From day one, you’ll be engaging in conversation with your instructor and your classmates. This will prepare you to feel confident and comfortable when speaking with natives.
