What is Yoga?
In yoga, participants often use breathing and yoga poses to help keep the mind calm. Yoga has the ability to help kids be more active, flexible and mindful for an increase on overall well-being!
This is an eight-week introduction to yoga poses (asanas) open to yogis. Each class of summer program consists of poses, giving students a safe and comfortable place to return to as they explore movement and balance.
Your child will be taught:
- yoga postures
- participate in mindfulness activities
- and learn how to focus
This course is built to improve flexibility and increase strength, while increasing self-confidence and body awareness.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
