A great course for students who are 14 to 17 years old and have no or little language experience. Our language classes for teens provide a platform for advanced language learning and cultural exploration. Tailored to their interests and abilities, these classes delve deeper into grammar, literature, and real-world conversations, supplemented by multimedia resources and discussions, preparing teens for global communication and academic pursuits.
Students will begin learning basic vocabulary and simple sentences to express personal information, where they live and people they know. Students will understand familiar words and basic phrases concerning themselves, their family and immediate concrete surroundings when others speak slowly and clearly.
Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of French in the classroom by using French activities, games, songs, visual elements as well as manipulatives. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.
This is the FIRST part of the three-long course long French Beginner sequence.
