You'll be guided step-by-step as you learn how to mix, fold, flavor, pipe, bake, and fill these delicate cookies.
You'll learn about the ingredients that go into making amazing macarons and the techniques that will ensure that your macarons always turn out deliciously.
When you are done, you'll have more than a dozen filled macarons, recipes, and the confidence to make macarons that will dazzle your family any time you'd like.
Things you'll need:
- Hand Mixer/Stand Mixer/Whisk
- Mixing Bowls
- Silpat or Parchment Paper
- Silicone Spatula
- Baking sheet
- Piping Bag (or large Ziploc bag)
- Kitchen Scale (or measuring cups and spoons)
- Egg Whites (not boxed or meringue powder)
- Knife
- Almond Flour
- Powdered Sugar
- Granulated Sugar
- Cream of Tarter
- Gel food coloring
- Cocoa powder or spices (optional)
- Filling of your choice - jam, lemon curd, buttercream, chocolate ganache, peanut butter, Nutella, etc.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
