Want to learn about promoting your services and generating customers for your photography? Whether you are selling prints, photography services, or educational programs, this 2.5 hour workshop will show you how to find clients, figure out your competition, select the right social media and promotional channels, and establish achievable goals. We’ll review the basics of an effective website, and how to prioritize your marketing and sales activities. And you’ll learn about “findability” – how potential customers find you via keywords, hashtags and Google searches.
Registrants will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire in advance to make sure the program addresses their concerns as closely as possible. I offer numerous hands-on tips and tasks you can begin immediately, as well as a list of resources that will help you grow your photography business.
What to Expect and Bring
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Washington Photo Safari operates rain or shine. A separate itinerary is followed on rain or snow days, utilizing landmarks with unique photogenic interiors, such as The National Building Museum, Union Station, The National Postal Museum, The Lincoln Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
