Part 1: Digital Camera Essentials

We'll introduce you to the essential functions of your digital camera, including shooting modes, shutter speed, aperture and ISO, and explore how to think about taking a picture you'll be proud to share.
Part 2: In-Person Learning and Practice
Princeton, NJ or At Home
This session provides invaluable hands-on guidance. Ask questions, make mistakes, your instructor is there to teach you what you need to know to make the pictures you envision. **Students who are unable to attend this in-person session will receive photography assignments to complete.
Part 3: Composition, Lighting and Photo Review
In our live, fully interactive virtual classroom
This session is a review of photos you took when you attended Part 2/completed your assignments. In this session, we will delve into composition, subject, scene and lighting by looking at the role of these critical elements in making your images as good as they can be.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
