Thomas Gentille is widely recognized for a lifetime of contributions to the world of contemporary jewelry. In 2006, he was the first American artist to be designated “Klassiker der Moderne” by the prestigious Schmuck Art Jewelry exhibition in Munich. In addition, he was the recipient of the renowned Herbert Hofmann Prize in 2001 and also received the Bavarian State Prize in 2004. Gentille’s work can be found in some of the most important museum collections worldwide.
