Richard McMillan is an architect with MTA New York City Transit. He has over 20 years of experience in all project phases with an emphasis on sustainable design and the transportation and education sectors. McMillan teaches Reading Construction Documents and Sustainability at the Fordham Real Estate Institute at Lincoln Center. He also teaches at NYU. McMillan is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Construction Specifications Institute, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is the author of 101 Cool Buildings: The best of New York City Architecture, 1999–2009.
