Lynn Weitzman is a career coach and organizational development specialist. Lynn works with mid-career professionals looking to re-enter the workforce, specifically the nonprofit sector. Lynn has over 15 years experience in talent development and organizational management with the NYC Office of the Mayor, New York State Psychiatric Institute, New York University, Columbia University, and New York State Governor's Office. Throughout the twists and turns of Lynn's career, she relied on a close network of colleagues and mentors to help her navigate the challenges and choices so many face as they are cultivating a career. She is now energized by “paying it forward”, working with women and career changers to help them find their voices and rediscover their professional self.
Lynn Weitzman is the founder of OPT-IN consulting, a firm that supports the transition of skilled professional back to the nonprofit workplace after an extended absence. Lynn is also the Director of Coaching and Curriculum Strategy for Après, a digital recruiting platform for women looking to reenter the workforce.
Lynn received her B.A. in Philosophy of Politics and Law from Binghamton University and her Masters in Public Administration from the Robert F Wagner School of Public Service at NYU. She is certified in Myers Brigg Personality Assessment (MBTI) and 360 Assessment (Center for Creative Leadership). She received her certificate in executive coaching from CoachU.
