Teaches at 92nd Street Y

Heidi Waleson has been the opera critic of the Wall Street Journal for 25 years. In addition to her regular criticism, her work has also focused more broadly on the changing profiles of musical institutions, new models for opera presentation, and the broader significance of opera and culture. She is a faculty member of the Rubin Institute for Music Criticism at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Naomi Lewin is the former host of weekday afternoon music on WQXR, and of the podcast Conducting Business. Before that, she was midday host at WGUC in Cincinnati, where she created the award-winning weekly program Classics for Kids. She has produced intermission features for Metropolitan Opera broadcasts, music programs and reports for NPR, and podcasts on the Tippet Rise Art Center, Martin Luther in Saxony and the bicentennial of St. George's Choral Society. Naomi is also a speaker, emcee and media coach, and she's the radio voice of Arizona Opera.×
