Gabra Zackman

Gabra Zackman is a New York City-based actress, audiobook narrator, and writer. She has performed Off-Broadway, in regional theaters across the country, several Shakespeare festivals, and also did a stint in the theaters of Denver, Colorado. She has been seen on TV in “Law and Order,” “Law and Order: SVU,” and “All My Children,” as well as a few small film roles. Gabra is a company member and the Outreach Director of the Upstart Creatures, based in NYC.

Gabra has a parallel career in audiobook narration, and has worked in that field for over 15 years. She has recorded over 300 audiobooks to date in nearly every major New York production house and has a home studio as well.  She started working in all genres, initially voicing a large amount of romance and chick lit, then adding to it with a great following in sci fi and fantasy.  Currently she records in all these genres, along with a large amount of memoir and non-fiction. She has been nominated for and won several awards for her work.
