Teaches at National Academy School of Fine Arts

Orbach received a BA from Hunter College and an MFA from Pratt Institute. She also studied at The Art Students League with Robert Beverly Hale and Gregory D’Alessio and earned a Certificate for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts at the New York Academy of Art. While at Pratt, she served as anatomical assistant to Salvator Montano, performing dissections with him at a leading medical college. Orbach has appeared in group shows at Salander-O’Reilly Gallery, NY; Exit Art, NY; and the Anthropology Museum of the People of New York. She is represented in many private collections and has also exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Las Cruces, NM; Artists Space Gallery, NY; and the Montclair Art Museum, NJ; where she published Anatomy in Art under the aegis of the National Endowment for the Arts. Her work can be found in private collections across the country.
