Linda Gammon

Teaches at Stepping Out Studios

Linda Gammon and her partner, James "Jamie" Cunneen, struck up a dance partnership in 1990 that has continued to this day. Linda and Jamie have competed in both American Smooth Style and International Standard Ballroom Dancing. Together they won or placed in most major competitions in the country, becoming six-time United States Dancesport Championship Rising Star Finalists in International Standard and American Smooth, as well as USDC Open Professional Semi-finalists. Having studied with numerous world champions and World Finalists, Linda and Jamie have extensive dance training in many dance styles, with a specialty in Ballroom. Linda holds a BS and MS in Teaching Dance Education and Movement. "One of the things I love most about teaching," she says, "is watching all of my students, amateur and professional, progress over the years." Linda devotes her time to teaching, coaching, competing and performing both with her partner, Jamie, and with her students. Beginners, social dancers, wedding couples, or high level competitive Ballroom Dancers feel comfortable and gain a sense of accomplishment as well as enjoyment with an experienced instructor of the caliber of Linda.
