George Strayton

Teaches at Jacob Krueger Studio

Most recently the recipient of the 2014 Sundance US Audience Award (Co-Writer; Alive Inside), over the past fifteen years, George has worked extensively on both hour-long television and feature films including Transformers 1 & 2, Star Trek (2009), Sam Raimi’s Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, Stardust, and Dragonlance: Dragons of Autumn Twilight. In that time, he’s collaborated with many genre showrunners and filmmakers: Roberto Orci (Fringe, Star Trek Into Darkness), Alex Kurtzman (Hawaii Five-0, Amazing Spider-Man 2), Damon Lindelof (Lost, Star Trek Into Darkness), Stephen Sommers (The Mummy, G.I. Joe), and J.J. Abrams (Cloverfield, Star Wars Episode VII). George also worked inside the studio system as Director of Marketing at Universal Studios for three years and has since become an independent creative consultant, developing transmedia projects for DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures, and Universal Studios.
