Alex Gordon

Teaches at Pace University CPE

Originally from Beaumont, TX, Alex  began his formal dance training at Washington University in St. Louis (2006-10) where he received his BA in architecture and minor in modern dance.  While in college, Alex joined The Slaughter Project Dance company and also guested with Saint Louis based companies and performance artists [such Tom Brady, Atrek Dance Collective, Ashliance Dance Company, and the University of Missouri dance department. In the summer of 2010, Alex attended ADF (The American Dance Festival) on a work-study scholarship.  Afterwards, Alex joined the The Missouri Contemporary Ballet (2010-15) in Columbia, MO where he also become the Resident Costume Designer (2014-15.)  Alex has also guested as a dancer and costume designer for Deeply Rooted Young Choreographers Showcase (2013-2014). Alex is currently a member of Thodos Dance Chicago and Ardent Dance Company and continues to teach, choreograph and design.
