Laura Frankel is the Executive Chef of Wolfgang Puck Kosher Catering at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies in Chicago. As the original chef and founder of the acclaimed Shallots restaurant in New York and Skokie, IL, Chef Frankel was a pioneer of kosher fine dining. She is also the author of two acclaimed cookbooks: Jewish Cooking For All Seasons and Jewish Slow Cooker Recipes. Chef Frankel is an avid farmer’s market supporter, giving demos and teaching classes all over the country featuring fresh, local produce. We are honored to welcome Chef Frankel to Brooklyn to help us kick off the Chef’s Table Series.
