Charles Salzberg is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Esquire, New York Magazine, Elle, the New York Times Book Review, the New York Times Arts and Leisure, and GQ. He is the author of over 25 books, including The Mad Fisherman, From Set Shot to Slam Dunk, and Soupy Sez: My Zany Life and Times. His novel, Swann’s Last Song, was nominated for a Shamus Award for Best First Novel, and the sequel, Swann Dives In, was published October 2012. He is a founding member of the New York Writers Workshop.
