Brandon Soloff

Teaches at National Academy School of Fine Arts

Soloff is a classically trained painter and portraitist, whose work has been commissioned throughout the United States and Europe. The primary focus of his work is people. An admirer of the Old Masters, Soloff believes it is essential to paint from life. Internationally known, Soloff has exhibited his work at the Hirschl & Adler Galleries, NY; Alan Stone Gallery, NY; Hammer Galleries, NY; The Royal Society Portrait Painters, London, UK; Meredith Long Galleries, Houston, TX, the Copley Society of Boston, Boston, MA; and Galerie Alexandre Butman, Paris, France and others. Soloff studied extensively in Italy, France and the United States and in 2002, he co-founded Studio126ny in New York. He has also taught at the Art Students League of New York , Mims Studios, Charles H. Cecil Studios, Martine Vaugel Sculpture Studio, the Washington Art Association, Atelier Brunelli, Studio415ny, and the National Academy. He currently lives and works in both New York City and Lyon, France.
