Introduction to Screenprinting

While I liked the independence of the class to work on whatever we wanted, there was no structure to the class and I felt like I was only paying for studio time. There wasn’t much instruction or background information provided about screenprinting in general, or about what we were doing and why were doing it. Additionally, there weren’t clear instructions on certain techniques like how to do separations, or how to choose a proper screen, or other basic things that may have been taught in an introductory class. It was sort of assumed that most of us knew what were doing in the first class. Overall, I think some basic structure to the processes of screenprinting would have helped me get more out of this class.
