  Michiyo's studio is small and personable! She is very talented and was so open to answer any questions I asked. I have been teaching myself water coloring by watching videos fromYoutube. The videos have been informative, but I needed someone to share their wisdom in person. I learned a few things that I did not know, so I will definately return to take a few more classes with her.

  Hi, The teacher was knowledgable but the environment was slightly cold and the instructor did talked down to students and was slightly sarcastic with them. I think she could have acted more welcoming and been more encouraging and supportive of students attempts. I did learn valuable information and she was helpful for that.

  Here is a good, get your paint brush wet intro class. Enjoyable, and a great treat to work with an artist of exceptional skill amd talent. We regret that we didnt have more days and hours to spend learning even more.

  She left us pick different still life that we wanted to draw. Each one of us chose something different based on our prior experience. She then circled around and gave us individual instruction and criticism. I personally found it very useful and two hours just flew by.

  Instructor didn't speak English very well. My 15 year old daughter was the only English speaking person in the room. She didn't come away with a good feeling. Was told she was doing things wrong without much instruction on how to do it right. This wouldn't stop me from finding other classes from Coursehorse. I found it very easy to find a multitude of classes, I will call an make some inquiries next time.

  Decent class! Instructor was very calm and instructive, giving all the students equal attention. A great class for absolute beginners because she really focused on basics like how to use different pencils and pencil shades, and drawing simple 3D objects.

  I had the best time with this class. I have never taken a formal drawing class before and boy I needed to. I was always so frustrated trying to capture things that I see onto a page. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a star pupil by any means but in one class, I really started to get it. The great teaching and atmosphere really helped things to click in my head that will forever influence the enjoyment I derive from creativity and drawing. I think I can really do it. I will definitely be back get some more guidance. Such a great time.

  I would recommend this to someone who has had at least some basic drawing experience. The teacher/provider is quick to respond to any queries you may have prior to the lesson. The rescheduling policy is also very reasonable.
