John Goodrich

Teaches at National Academy School of Fine Arts

Goodrich received a BFA in painting from the University of California at Santa Barbara and studied also at the New York Studio School, the Kansas City Art Institute, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. His landscapes, still lifes, and figure paintings have appeared in group shows at Kouros Gallery, Elizabeth Harris Gallery, and Lori Bookstein Fine Art in NYC, and in solo exhibitions at the Bowery Gallery in New York City and the Contemporary Realist Gallery in San Francisco. He has taught at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Marymount College of Fordham University, and Queens College, and he has lectured at Haverford College and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. His writings on art have appeared regularly in Review Magazine and The New York Sun.
