Teaches at Caveat

After a decade in the broadcast industry, Freddy Clark set out to explore photography. He started out reading intensively, studying the work of other photographers and attending workshops. For several years, he focused on wedding photography while investigating portraiture, street and landscape photography. When he was consigned to photograph food preparations for a local restaurant, his skill with and fascination with the challenging category of food and beverage photography emerged. 

Because Freddy collected craft beers, one rainy day he started photographing some of the attractively labeled craft beer bottles in his garage and the way forward became clear. Freddy has since done work for beverage brands and restaurants, photography for a recently published cookbook, talked food photography on Rick Sammon's and Jeffrey Saddoris' podcasts and taught food and beverage workshops for Canon Live Learning USA, among others. In 2020, Freddy and Rick Sammon will be teaching a workshop together at Mt Rainier.
