Andrea G. Miller

Teaches at Brooklyn Metal Works

Andrea G. Miller is a visual artist whose practice is greatly influenced by the traditions of metalsmithing. Through her work she investigates the man-made environment in relation to the human body and culture. Her work has been widely exhibited and published, most recently in Metalsmith’s 2011 Exhibition in Print and “Push: Jewelry” by Lark Books. Miller, born and raised in the Midwest, completed her MFA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned a BS in art education as well as a BFA in metals from Ball State University. Community outreach and public education through the arts are an important part of her career.
