Alison is a Chicago native recently moved to New York. She holds a B.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Iowa. She received her yoga certification through Core Power Yoga in Chicago. She is a professional modern dancer who has incorporated yoga into her dance training for years. As a free flowing mover, vinyasa flow classes drew her deeper into her practice. Alison wanted to become a yoga instructor to create a welcoming, de-stressing, and enjoyable experience for her students.
