Alexandra Lozier

Alexandra Lozier is a metal and glass artist currently working and residing in Brooklyn, NY. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of nature, she collects, composes, and encapsulates organic found objects. Her work analyzes the ephemeral in an attempt to preserve it. She graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA with a BFA in Crafts, concentration in Metals and Glass in 2010. She recently showed her work at S.O.F.A. Chicago (Sculptural Objects Functional Art) and The Ukrainian Museum in New York, NY. Her work has recently been collected by art jewelry collector and crafts enthusiast, Helen Williams Drutt. In January 2012, Alex opened her own silversmithing/jewelry studio, Touch of Gray where she creates her own artwork as well fabricating art work for established artists and designers
