Alan Fessenden

Alan Fessenden has been performing and studying improv in New York for the last 10 years. He has studied under improv luminaries, Armando Diaz, Kevin Dorf, Ian Roberts, T.J. Jagodowski & David Pasquesi, Christina Gausas, Bob Dassie, Jean Villepique, Billy Merrit, and many more. Before coming to New York Alan studied Theatre Arts at the University of South Florida and co-founded The Jobsite Theater in Tampa where he directed productions of Spring Awakening, Brown Bread, and The Ruins, which he later directed in New York. Most recently he has studied clown and writing for clown under Giovanni Fusetti. In addition to writing and performing in his own one-man shows I Think I’m Dumb and What if I’m Dead? he has directed several solo and sketch shows in NYC. Alan has performed in numerous shows at the Magnet Theater including 4Track, Tiny Spectacular, The Armando Diaz Experience, The Armando Diaz Effect, The Inferno with The Assembly and Flea Flurkus Presents: Evente, as well as Fess Up and Mull It Over and F’d Up, which he helped develop. Currently Alan can be seen every Thursday night with Hello Laser as well random other nights as part of Pumpkin, Search Engine, Sixes and The Weave.
