Beginners will learn the basic skills of throwing on the potter's wheel and glazing techniques. Instructors will assist students with creating individual projects and developing skills. Demoes and critiques will be given regularly.

This class will focus on developing sensitivity to the various internal relationships and subtleties of the vessel form. Weekly demos encourage expanding into new forms and personal expression on the wheel. Students will also work on individual projects to further develop their skills.
