Description
What you'll learn in this html class:
Learn the core languages that are the backbone of building and styling websites. This workshop covers the foundations of coding with HTML and designing a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) to customize a website’s appearance, including text and layout. HTML and CSS are free, easy-to-use tools that are compatible with nearly every browser. Using both, create and fashion your web presence!
Topics include:
All you need to bring is yourself! Each student will be equipped with a 27-inch iMac with 5K retina display running Sublime Text. Personal equipment is not permitted.
Note:
The price of workshop includes a one year DCTV Membership giving you access to equipment rentals, post production facilities, and discounts on workshops and events.

Refund Policy
If you register for a workshop and are unable to attend, we can offer the following compensation:
- Full refund (less 5% cancellation fee):
- If your cancellation is confirmed at least 6 full business days prior to workshop's start date.
- Full credit (valid for 3 months) or a 50% refund:
- If your cancellation is confirmed at least 3 full business days prior to workshop's start date.
- You receive no compensation (neither refund nor credit):
- If your cancellation is confirmed less than 3 full business days prior to workshop's start date.
- No compensation (Neither Refund nor Credit) is available for cancellations less than 3 full business days prior to a workshop's start time or for non-attendance. For example, if you cancel your registration for a workshop that starts at 6:30pm on Monday, we must confirm your cancellation no later than 6:30pm the Thursday before for you to receive Credit.
There are absolutely no make-ups allowed for any missed session(s) of a workshop. It is not possible for students to make up a missed session of their Workshop by attending an equivalent session on another day. There are no refunds for missed sessions.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

It was a fantastic class! I learned so much - it was a two part course. We never wasted any time and the instructor made everything easy to understand. He made what I thought was going to be boring material very fun and he had a great personality. Would totally recommend it! HTML is a great skill to have.

Really awesome first class to take if you're interested in web development but don't really know where to start and don't feel like throwing down 1k (what seems to be the average rate for these kinds of classes. Grayson is very creative and fun and is a great representation of all the kinds of cool stuff you can do with coding. Class size is very small which is awesome bc you get one on one help. Only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is that I was DCTV gave an option for a level 2 html/CSS site bc I would really love to continue in a classroom setting and most of the other options are too expensive out there.
