What you'll learn in this quickbooks class:
This 36-hours QuickBooks Advanced course will further build on the baseline understanding of the importance of bookkeeping as a technical skill. The instructor will provide a real-world technique for business owners and other accounting specialists to organize and analyze financial data using QuickBooks.
Topics covered are the following:
Completion of Introduction to Bookkeeping with QuickBooks and/or 1 year of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
Required Textbook:
Business Analysis With QuickBooks by Conrad Carlberg Each student is responsible for bringing his or her own removable storage media (flash drive, etc.) to save the project as it grows each week.
Topics covered are the following:
- Building a QuickBooks company
- Developing one year's worth of business activity
- Analyzing your company's performance in QuickBooks
- Reports to make your company solid
- Using custom reports, metrics and ratios to understand the underlying nature and strength of the core business
- Try out financial ratios to compare one company to another: class collaboration
- Cash flow management and budgeting in QuickBooks

Required Textbook:
Business Analysis With QuickBooks by Conrad Carlberg Each student is responsible for bringing his or her own removable storage media (flash drive, etc.) to save the project as it grows each week.
School Notes: Please don't forget to bring a valid ID. Students registering on or after the first day of class shall be assessed a non-refundable late registration fee of $10.00.
Refund Policy
Tuition refunds are calculated in accordance with the Tuition Refund Policy for those students who officially drop a class or classes during the first three weeks of the semester. Fees are not refundable.
- Drops prior to the first day of the semester: 95% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the first calendar week of the semester: 75% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the second calendar week of the semester: 50% Tuition Refund
- Drops during the third calendar week of the semester: 25% Tuition Refund
- No refund after the third calendar week of the semester.
Tuition will be refunded 100 percent for those courses which, at any time, are cancelled by the College. Failure to attend class, merely giving notice to the instructor, or stopping payment on a check is not considered an official drop or withdrawal.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
