Question from Anonymous
Hello, do we receive credits for this course?
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! Since this is a non-credit course, students will not receive credits. You would have to take one of our longer credit-bearing courses in fashion drawing to earn credits. Hope this helps.

Question from Marit N.
Hi! I am wondering if there are any other brands or alternatives to Prismacolor that we can use that aren't quite so expensive? Thanks!
Answer from SARAH G. Verified Student
you can buy 5 colors or so, that you think you will use the most then you can add more
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Marit! If you go to the art supplies store, you will see other brands. You can just go to the store and find the brand that you can afford. There are other brands available but not sure if there are alternatives. Students should bring their own but the instructor probably has markers as well. If you want to, you can buy a few colors (basic/primary colors) and after the 1st class and you want to purchase more, you can ask the instructor for other brands. Prisma comes in a box and that might be expensive. You may purchase individual markers and then look at the store brands. Hope this helps!

Question from Heejae J.
Hi, I'm a complete beginner who has zero experience drawing with markers. Is the class fast paced for absolute beginners like myself?
Answer from Candice K. Verified Student
I also had zero experience. You’ll be fine!
Answer from Jenn C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi! This course is perfect for absolute beginners, even if you have never used a marker.
Answer from Wanda V. Verified Student
The instructor leaves plenty of time for you to draw your figures and designs. This class is also great for beginners in that you will receive much inspiration from other participants in what and how to draw. You will have a great time!
